Our 50th reunion will be the weekend of August 23-25, 2024. Wow, 50 years! Like our 30th and 40th, it will be a “you missed it” weekend if you weren’t there! We think the 50th will be very special and sentimental. Please help us by reaching out to your contacts so that no one misses this amazing weekend. All 70’s graduates are welcome.
The weekend will start with a “Meet and Greet” with a no-host breakfast/lunch at Zubie’s Dry Dock in Huntington Beach from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Zubie’s has a lot of room for us to hang out, mingle and get the reunion started.
After Zubie’s, our next adventure will begin at 4:00 p.m. with “Some Time on the HB Sand” at Brookhurst Street. Look for the easy-ups with EHS banners and balloons. It will also be a no-host BYO food and beverage event.
The “Main Event” at Momentous Sports Center in Irvine will begin with check-in from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and dancing until 12:00 a.m. There will be a no-host beer and wine bar and plenty of opportunities for fun and memorable photos. We are also very happy to announce that we have received a very generous donation for Saturday night. This allows us to offer a fun-filled evening for only $30/person prepaid by August 20, 2024 and $35/person after August 20, 2024. A huge “THANK YOU” to Mike Rangel for his kindness and contribution.
The final event will be a “Picnic in the Park” at Edison Park across from EHS beginning at 12:00 p.m. This is also a no-host event and a chance to continue the fun from the night before. We are hopeful we can take a group picture at our alma mater before everyone leaves.
