So, what have you got to say for yourself? Post your comments, reminisces, or just say “hi” to someone you used to know!

Please enjoy the Bulletin Board -- have fun, take that walk down memory lane, get reacquainted and don't say anything about anybody you wouldn't want said about yourself (in public, anyway). Before you send anything, please review it to see whether it is respectful and responsible. The views on the Bulletin Board are those of the person who posted it and not the alumni of Edison or Edison High School as a whole, so we do not allow anonymous postings.

And remember, please, keep it clean!

Leland (Lee) Hill Hello everyone! I received my invitation to the reunion in the mail yesterday (Sat). Those of you that have helped organize this, my thanks to you. Looks like you're doing a great job! The website looks great and I've enjoyed reading a number of the posts.

I missed the 10th reunion as I was busy getting married that day – August 25, 1984. It’s hard to believe that we've almost been married 20 years! My oldest daughter is attending Golden West College, having worked hard in high school and graduating a year earlier. My youngest daughter is graduating from the 6th grade this year. Diane and I have had a few bumps on the road of marriage, but things are well and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Fortunately, it's good timing too, because I've been working for the past several years as a professional photographer, primarily on the Champ (CART) Car circuit. We have a race the week before the reunion in Toronto and a race the week after in Vancouver, so the timing is perfect.

I've never left the area, although I wanted to at times. Most of my immediate family, except for my Dad (he's in Hawaii), still live in Southern California. I'm still living locally in Westminster, and still work primarily in the real estate business. I still bump into some of you from time to time, but I'm really looking forward to see many of you again! It'll be interesting to see how many guys still have some hair left and how many of the rest of us are getting all gray! It's amazing how time flies by!

Lee Hill Kat, Reunion committee:

Can you please enlighten us with regard to the “Lost Alumni” section? How up to date is it? How does ones name get added to this list? I see some names with cities and states. Does that mean you have an address but have not verified it? How often is it updated? In looking at the list I see lots of names of old friends and classmates on it. And it turns out my name is on the list too, and I’m obviously not “lost” .

I ask this because I think all of us attending the reunion would like it to be very successful. If we know the list is up to date then we might be more encouraged to look for our missing classmates. If would be helpful if you posted the date on the website that the list was last updated. And how about a list of those of us that have actually registered for the reunion? That why we’d know who to bug and encourage to register too.

Thanks for all your hard work! You’ve done a wonderful job, and I know we all appreciate it!

Lee Hill Glenn:

Thanks so much for the detailed explanation. I’d suggest that you put the link you included in your message on the same page as the Lost Alumni too; that way someone accessing it later can easily access the information. I’m sure we’ll get new classmates that will find us and not take the time to read through all the messages and they would therefore miss this important information.

That being said, there’s a few on the list I’m going to try and track down.

Also wanted to say hi to the Wojahn’s; I knew you dudes would pop up out of the woodwork. We lost touch again after the 20th reunion; it’s good to hear you guys are doing well. My oldest daughter is studying to go into the music business; so far she’s completed her first year of studies at Golden West and she’s doing great.

Has anybody heard anything from Dave White? I know he’s the coach and all, but unless I’ve missed it, I’ve not seen him post anything. That’s a guy that knows way too much about some parts of my anatomy! –LOL-

Yes, and I think we should bug ol’ Kevin Nadeau to come out of the shadows! So, get with it Kevin.

Sue, you hang in there! Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

All for now – oh yeah, one last thing - how many do you think will show up with their hair died to hide the gray?

Lee Hill Wow! My compliments and thanks to the Reunion Committee. Your efforts and dedication made the reunion a magical and very memorable event! Thanks so very much!

It was wonderful to see everyone. What a class we had; everyone looks so great! Diane and I had a great time; my only regret is that I had to leave a little early, and I'll miss today's picnic, as I have several work related appointments today.

I probably should have mentioned this before, but if anyone would like to contact me personally, without going through this website, my contact information, including my mailing address, e-mail address, and phone numbers can be found on my website: www.AssociateAppraisersOfAmerica.com

One more thing, for those I couldn't relay the massage to last night, John Duggan called me during the reunion. He sends his regrets that he could not attend the reunion. He's still here locally and owns an major appliance business. Business is good; in fact, he's so busy, it kept him from attending. But he wanted to say "Hi" to everyone, especially the guys on the football team.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable time at today's picnic!

All the best

Lee Hill It's been awhile since I last posted. I've been so busy I hadn't checked back for some time. This morning I got the e-mail regarding the new alumni site. That sent me right back here to catch up.

I'm going to try and make the 28th at Chimayo's. I'd suggest sending an e-mail invitation out to everyone because many may not be checking the bulletin board frequently and might miss the event. I couldn't make the last one in August as I was in Denver that weekend - I'm looking forward to this one!

James Hatfield - you mentioned about turning 50. I'm still 5 1/2 months away, but my AARP application arrived in the mail the other day! Now that's a signal you're getting old. Sure beats the alterative though!

We could do what other sites do and make this as long and painful to read as possible, get a bunch of lawyers involved and find the most obscure English words possible, but why?

It all comes down to: the only ones who see all of your info are the committee members. And we’re only trying to get you to come party with us. We promise not to sell your home address, your email address, your name or likeness to ANYONE.

Now renting you out for nefarious purposes…. Well, we haven’t gotten any offers yet, but we’ll hold our options open for now. Check back later.
