So, what have you got to say for yourself? Post your comments, reminisces, or just say “hi” to someone you used to know!

Please enjoy the Bulletin Board -- have fun, take that walk down memory lane, get reacquainted and don't say anything about anybody you wouldn't want said about yourself (in public, anyway). Before you send anything, please review it to see whether it is respectful and responsible. The views on the Bulletin Board are those of the person who posted it and not the alumni of Edison or Edison High School as a whole, so we do not allow anonymous postings.

And remember, please, keep it clean!

Kathee (Silkowski) Markarian "Hello from Washington State! Thank you to John and your follow committee members. The website is very impressive. Look forward to seeing you in July."

Kathee (Silkowski) Markarian Hello Everyone,

What a joy it is to read about and re-connect with all of you. This website just keeps getting better and better! For those of you who don’t remember me, I didn’t join the Edison Charger clan until my sophomore year. That first year at Edison I was lucky enough to be enrolled in Mr. Emery’s, English class. I sat between Scott Wojahn and Ken Kerr, with George Giorgetti somewhere near by. These guys made those first few months delightful. Then at the end of our sophomore year, I was the geeky girl who ran for Girls League President and lost to write-in candidate, Adrienne Davis! No hard feelings, Adrienne, I enjoyed working with you and Deb.

My favorite teachers were Mr. Hall, in the business department and Mr. Jensen, for auto shop. Remember the good old days, when we had so many options for elective classes? Those were the days when the IBM Selectric was the word processor of choice! The sporting events and the trips to Bob’s Big Boy afterward, were the best. I loved hanging out with Colleen, Sue, Julie, Stephanie, Gina and Vivian plus participating in the Dance Concert. Thank you, to the gals who made me feel a part of the dance team.

We have all grown up so much. I remember attending our 20 year reunion and loving the fact that most of us had come down from the clouds. It wasn’t as important anymore, what kind of car you drove, but how much you loved your kids or life with your spouse/companion. The guys, especially, were so eager to share photos of their families. As I read about the struggles we have experienced, whether it be health, financial or family, I think we are blessed, to be, who we have become. Let’s not forget those of us who have family or friends in the armed services. My 35 year old brother is a Major in the Marines and currently in his 2nd deployment to Iraq.

I have had the privilege of sharing my life’s experiences with my husband of 25 years and our daughter, who will soon be 14. We have spent the last 10 years in a small town in Washington State, called Woodinville, running our own business, which we started in CA. Woodinville is just east of Seattle and Lake Washington. I highly recommend the quality of life up here, it's not all gray and rainy. We live on an acre with our 2 golden retrievers and cat and are happiest when we are boating in our SeaRay SunDeck. We still feel young, so haven't yet retired to the cabin cruiser!

It will be so good to see all of you. I hope many more of you will attend. IT'S NOT TOO LATE!

Kathee (Silkowski) Markarian Hey everyone, the Reunion Committee and I will need your help on Saturday.

You’ve all been to weddings where there were disposable cameras on the reception tables. Well, we are going to have similar cameras at your tables on Saturday evening. Here’s your chance to capture memories for every alumni, absent or attending the festivities. The candid photos you take will be available to all of us via the Memory CD created by Technical Wizard: Kat. To ensure good quality shots, don’t forget to press the “Power Flash” button on the front of the camera. Don’t be shy and have fun!

One week away! “EHS or Bust!” Sunday night, we jump into our Excursion Diesel and begin our trip to So. Calif. I wish everyone a safe journey to Orange County, whether by plane or automobile. Maybe we’ll see you at a truck stop. Debbie Jacobson, are you on the road? See you on the 17th!

We could do what other sites do and make this as long and painful to read as possible, get a bunch of lawyers involved and find the most obscure English words possible, but why?

It all comes down to: the only ones who see all of your info are the committee members. And we’re only trying to get you to come party with us. We promise not to sell your home address, your email address, your name or likeness to ANYONE.

Now renting you out for nefarious purposes…. Well, we haven’t gotten any offers yet, but we’ll hold our options open for now. Check back later.
