1/10/2017 Guy was a very talented writer. Last I'd heard from him, he was living in Alaska, writing a novel. He and I and a few others (Mark Maurel, Sheldon and Mark Pifer) used to get together every now then after high school, and have a gathering somewhere in Santa Cruz, San Francisco and/or Mckinleyville, Ca. and discuss Richard Brautigan novels in a elevated heightened awareness. Hmm, those were some great times . RIP Guy.

1/15/2014 Even though we went to high school together, we had a big class. I was introduced to Angeli at breakfast at the hotel the following morning after our 30th Reunion. There was a group of use and we had a wonderful time. It was so great to meet her before she left us.

7/23/2014 Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our list one's pours through and shines down on us to let us know they are happy. ~Eskimo Proverb~ I met Angeli when we were eleven years old. She became a dear friend and sister. She was there the day I got married in Tijuana, I took care of her son when he was a baby, we raced Jeeps together when we were in our twenties and in the last years traveled together. We may have lived in different states but for forty-four years we shared each other's lives. The last time I saw Angeli we had one of those once-in-a-lifetime talks. In a strange way it was if we both knew we were saying goodbye and not one word was left unspoken. Angeli died of a massive stroke three days after her fifty-fifth birthday. She left a huge hole especially in the lives of her family - her husband Donny, son Jarrod, daughter Brittany and four grandchildren. I will forever be blessed by having had such a dear friend and although I miss her physical presence, she will always live in the hearts of those of us lucky enough to call her friend.

2/13/2014 I'll always remember Mark. When I moved to Huntington Beach from Los Alamitos in 1971, Mark was one of the first classmates I met. We ran track together until he decided to play tennis. He was a very good tennis player and a good friend. He always had a great attitude and always wore a smile. Sadly I lost touch with Mark after high school and I just recently found out about his passing. May he Rest In Peace.

8/5/2014 I too remember mark. Seems that we shared several classes in our time at Edison. He was a genuine and nice guy, very unassuming and friendly. I don't know what his life after high school was like, but I'm sure that he left us with a big circle of friends and family who miss him terribly.

We could do what other sites do and make this as long and painful to read as possible, get a bunch of lawyers involved and find the most obscure English words possible, but why?
